Crystal Castillo

January 21, 2026 by

I’m Crystal Castillo, a REALTOR® serving Collin County and the surrounding North Texas area. I transitioned into real estate after a successful 17-year career in education as a teacher and coach, driven by my passion for helping people and my desire to use my communication, organization, and advocacy skills in a more client-focused, results-driven way.

With my husband’s 20-plus years in home building, I’ve been immersed in the housing world for most of my adult life. Becoming a Realtor felt like a natural next step—combining my love for helping families with a strong understanding of homes, construction, and the market. I specialize in helping growing families move into larger homes, guiding sellers through successful transactions, and navigating the new-construction process with confidence.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my patience, clear communication, and genuine care for their needs. I’m highly organized, punctual, and proactive, which allows me to keep every transaction running smoothly and as stress-free as possible. I also bring strong expertise in new construction, helping clients understand builder contracts, upgrades, timelines, and negotiations so they can make informed decisions every step of the way.

At heart, I’m an educator, and that shapes everything I do. I take a hands-on, team-oriented approach with my clients because I want them to feel comfortable, informed, and fully supported throughout the process. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions a person can make, and my goal is for my clients to walk away knowing I did everything possible to secure the best deal, feel confident in the experience, and truly love their new home.

I’m originally from Dallas, Texas, and I’m married to my high school sweetheart. We have two awesome, sports-loving, sweet, and smart boys who keep us very busy. Outside of real estate, you’ll usually find me cheering them on at games, traveling to watch their favorite teams, hiking, swimming, or creating digital photo books of our family adventures.

Giving back is incredibly important to me. My family tries to complete at least one community service project every month. We’ve volunteered with Finding Calcutta, Feed the City, Grace Bridge, local food and clothing drives, and by stocking Little Free Pantries throughout McKinney. I also serve as a member coordinator for my oldest son’s Boy Scout troop and am active in my church and women’s Bible study group.

Three words my clients often use to describe me are happy, dedicated, and personable. My favorite local spot is Downtown McKinney, and a fun fact about me is that I love to dance—I was even an officer on my high school drill team.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s in Education Administration from the University of North Texas, where I graduated cum laude. I bring that same dedication, structure, and heart for people into every real estate transaction.

Your goals. My priority.
